It's Ok to be tired from building startups sometimes.
A couple of months ago, I had a very very emotional conversation with a founder who is tired of being a founder.
He has been building companies for 10 years now non-stop. He built 2 companies in very challenging industries.
He spent endless sleepless nights.
He has been on extreme financial pressure for a long time.
He hasn't spent quality time with his family and with his kids in particular.
He has been working in every vacation he went to.
He neglected his health, and stopped training.
As successful he might seem or be, he feels ashamed that he is tired of being a founder and wants some time of.
"There is nothing to be ashamed of" I told him, and it's your life and you control it.
There is some expectation from some people to keep on building no matter what, and to be executing all the time.
Those people deserves a break too.
They deserve to regroup, and get in shape, get their health back together, spend time with their kids, enjoy life.
That time, will help them want to build again.
