I played a little bit with the new
Nano Banana model and the AI Google Studios.I used prompt to build a really fun app where you can upload your photo and then generate images of yourself and others with some of the biggest tech CEOs from Tim Cook to Elon Musk.
You can then download the image or share it to social media.
Here is what I’ve learned:
🍌 Nano Banana is great at manipulating images especially with different backgrounds.
🍌 The process was very clanky and required many iterations.
🍌 Pressing ‘Fix Now’ does not really work and you need to go back and look at the code to fix things.
🍌 The model gets suck if the image it fetches from the internet is not clear or in high resolution and that is still the main issue. Tried to upload images manually, but that’s not the point of the app.
🍌 It is still buggy, but I share it anyways.
